Today I tried Installing the new Windows 7 Enterprise Edition
I downloaded the software from my MSDN account and installed in a Virtual PC. I first want to test all the features before installing as host OS.
I have choosen Windows 7 Enterprise N for download (Initially I didn’t check what N stands for but later after installing I came to know that N means Not with Media Player)
Once after the installation I tried to activate the product but encountered an error “0×8007232B DNS Name Does Not Exist Error”
After googling for some time I found that I have to enter the product key again. So I got the product key from MSDN and activated the OS.
I was trying to play some music to test my sound card and only at this point I realised the OS was without Media Player. Again reached out to google to see the features of Enterprise edition. There were 3 versions of Enterprise edition K, KN, N. The term “K” refers to the Korean edition. The term “N” refers to “Not with Media Player”.
To install Media Player in the “N” versions of the Windows 7
